Verta cant fly well at first, but if they gets a white feather, their feather level will increase! In addition, the maximum feather level increases as the stage progresses.
As you progress through the stages, the maximum feather level will increase, and with a higher feather level, exploring will be easier.

After defeating a boss, Velta will learn various techniques from their friends.
They can fly their wings far away, call stars to create footholds...

.Each stage has five "shining star fragments" scattered around the stage.
When you have five of these, they become "stars of brilliance", and if you have a star of brilliance after a certain stage, the floor corresponding to that stage will be released.
